Hey love - I’m June, Founder of June Richards Photography

If you know me, you would know that I’m extremely passionate about my couples. I am an extroverted, people’s person with a whole lot of love and a huge adventurer at heart.
My love for nature and wildlife forms a BIG part of my work, and being an empath creates a sacred space for my couples to be authentically themselves whilst I get to create ART, that speaks volumes about the beautiful creation that surrounds us.
Before I became a Wedding & Elopement photographer I owned a Brand Development Company that crafted people’s dream brands and brought them to life. My passion for design and being creative started very early on. throughout my "photography as a hobby" journey I realized that seeing the world and photographing beautiful people in magnificent places was becoming my dream - and so my business was born.
I photographed Traditional weddings for the better part of 7 years before I realised that Adventure Elopements were what I wanted to specialise in. Combining my love for people, adventure + the earth.
Now, I am a full-time destination wedding photographer based in South Africa, specializing in Luxury Safari Elopements & Adventure Elopements worldwide.

Where do I start... From the get go, June was invested in US. After the many phone calls, messages and words of encouragement, June left us that day not only as our photographer but as a friend.
June captured every magical moment so perfectly.
Thanks to her, we can look back and relive every special moment. For two people who hardly take photos, she made us feel very comfortable and the experience was a whole lot of fun! The couple shoot was one of my favourite moments of the day as we got to spend time together, having fun and a whole lot of laughs, and soak in all the feelings before the start of our reception. I cannot recommend her enough and I will be contacting June to capture every major milestone in our lives from here on out.
