Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be a second shooter?

With full wedding coverage I usually have a second shooter, but with smaller weddings, elopements and other sessions it will just be me & sometimes an assistant.

How long before we receive our files?

Your Online Gallery will be published approx. 6 weeks after the wedding date, this is also when your digital files will be delivered.

Do we receive the RAW files?

No you do not, these are not available for viewing nor purchase. I choose my absolute best images from the batch and you receive, high quality, high resolution, beautifully enhanced photographs. Please rest assured that the outtakes truly are unusable images.

Do we get the copyright to our photographs?

Unfortunately no, copyright only means that i am the creator of the images and they are my intellectual property, therefore I own the copyright. Copyright cannot be sold or obtained, but you can print and share your images as much as you’d like.

Can we order prints or an album?

Absolutely! I can supply print and design options with prices on request .

Do you have insurance?

I do have all my gear insured and always have backup gear just in case, however I cannot be held liable for any damage caused or loss of data due to natural events.

How do you describe your style?

My style is very journalistic and unique, but I don’t believe photographs should be limited to ‘genre’. There is definitely a time and place for gorgeously posed photographs.

How does payment work?

A deposit of 60% of the quoted total is required to secure your booking date, the remaining amount is to be paid in full at least 2 days before the wedding/date of shoot.

If our wedding is canceled, is the deposit refundable?

Unfortunately not. Upon signing the contract I hold your date exclusively for you and turn down any other commissions for that date, therefore the deposit is non-refundable.

When should we book?

ASAP! Some clients book up to a year before the wedding, others as close ad two months prior, but since I cannot “pencil you in” it is important to book me as soon as you have your date set.

Do you need food at the reception?

Feeding me is not a contracted requirement but it would be very kind, by doing so I will remain in a good mood and not faint from starvation.

What if disaster strikes?

If something should happen to me and I cannot attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, I promise you will be left with a more than competent replacement.
